Samsung Unveils Their Windows Phone 7 Series Handset

Labels: , , , ,

The third Windows Phone 7 Series handset has just been revealed. Following LG and Asus models, Samsung has just unveiled their own. There's no name for this handset and the spec sheet, of course, isn't final right now but they did hint at a couple of things. The things we do know is that this handset will feature at least 256MB of RAM, 8GB of flash storage, and possibly an (Super) AMOLED screen.

Keep in mind that the Windows Phone 7 minimal specifications include: aGPS, accelerometer, digital compass, a proximity sensor, a light, a 5MP camera with a flash, and a 480 x 800 resolution display (HVGA 480 x 320 resolution at a later date). To me, this handset looks like an exact clone of the Samsung i8910 OmniaHD - except it's running Windows Phone 7 Series.
