Starcraft II Will Have A Collector's Edition

Labels: ,

Blizzard has just confirmed that a Starcraft II Collector's Edition is in the works. This is fairly unsurprising news, I mean it's been 10+ years since the original Starcraft came out, so fans are craving this sequel. I know I'll definitely be in the midnight line-up to get this game, this is going to be my life.

HTC Touch Pro2 and Touch Diamond2 Are Expensive Unlocked

Labels: , , ,

In the midst of this economic crisis I don't know who's willing to spend $887 USD on the HTC Touch Pro2 or $726 USD for the HTC Touch Diamond2. For those prices, I'd definitely rather get the Nokia N97. Greater specs, for just about the same price (more or less) as the Touch Pro2 - although I can't confirm that yet since it's not available yet.

Dell Vostro A90 Now Available For $349

Labels: , , , ,

The Dell Vostro A90 is the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 painted in black. Personally, I love the black finish on this netbook. Anyways, the A90 has an 8.9-inch display, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, up to 1GB of RAM, Intel's GMA950 graphics card, a 16GB SSD, 802.11g, a 0.3MP webcam, a 4-cell battery and will run on Windows XP Home Edition. For the few Linux fans out there, this Vostro will not have a Linux option, so you'll be stuck with buying the Mini 9 instead. Although I love the black finish, an 8.9-inch screen is just too tiny for my liking.

LG X110 Notebook Sneaks By The FCC; But, Who Cares?

Labels: , ,

The LG X110 notebook is fairly unimpressive. It has a 10-inch display, up to only 1GB of RAM, an unspecified HDD and Intel Atom processor, Bluetooth, an integrated 1.3MP camera, and has your choice of either 3-cell or 6-cell battery. No word on the battery life or the price or when it will be available. It should be available soon though, since the FCC has just gave it the go signal. It definitely doesn't look like anything I'm interested in buying. There's so many other notebooks / netbooks to choose from that just blow this out of the water.

Microsoft Confirms Office 2010 By January

Labels: , , , ,

At least that's what Tech Radar has said. Microsoft Office 2010 "will ship to manufacturers by January 2010, with no public beta of the software suite likely to be issued." Since it will ship to manufacturers in January, everyone else can expect the release of the consumer version in 6 weeks to 4 months after that comes out. As of right now, there is still no word on the pricing, but Microsoft has also confirmed that both 32-bit and 64-bit versions will be available.
