Rogers HSPA+ Network To Be Available on September 28th in 5 Canadian Cities

Labels: , , ,

For the past couple of months, we've been hearing about Rogers launching their new HSPA+ network. Well, Rogers is now the first company in North America to push out this new network that is capable ot pumping out 21Mbps speeds. Rogers' new HSPA+ network is going to be available starting on September 28th in 5 cities: Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. This new Internet stick is available for pre-orders and will cost $74.99 CAD monthly or $200 contract-free and, unfortunately, there are no devices that can take full advantage of this speed right now. However, Rogers has mentioned that devices will be rolling out slowly over the next couple of months.

So, Canadians, you should probably wait just a little bit longer to get this new stick - unless you really want to get the fastest network in North America.

Update: Mobile Syrup has just got their hands on Rogers announcing their new HSPA+ launch party. Check out the 8 minute video below.
