Archos Releasing 10s Netbook Mid-October For $399

Labels: , , ,

We haven't heard about the Archos 10 for a while now, since we've been focusing on their Android tablet. Anyways, Archos will be launching the Archos 10s and it will be available in the middle of next month for $399 USD. The Archos 10s has: a 10.2-inch display with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD, an integrated 1.3MP webcam, and a 3 and 6-cell battery that will supposedly last 2.5 hours and 5 hours, respectively. Unfortunately, this netbook will be running Windows XP and won't be running Windows 7 - even though it'll be available about a week after Archos decides to launch this. Oh well.

By the way, the only difference the Archos 10s brings is "the software, [which] comes with stuff like Lotus Symphony (word processing), Archos Media Club and a few others."
