Samsung Confirms a Nvidia Tegra-Based Handset in the Works, Could Be Headed to AT&T / T-Mobile

Labels: , ,

Samsung has just confirmed that it is working on a Nvidia Tegra based handset. This is truly amazing. Who wouldn't want 720p video, "hardware accelerated Flash", and longer battery life? It all sounds great to me, especially since it has Android support. Earlier rumours suggested that this Samsung handset could launch on AT&T or T-Mobile for around $199 on a 2-year contract. This handset could be running on either Android or Windows Mobile. It could also have Samsung's new AMOLED display - similar to the Samsung I8000 Omnia II - and could possibly be a full-touchscreen based handset. I'm definitely excited for this one.
