The MacBook Wheel, More From Logitech's G-Series, HTC S743, Motorola A3100

Labels: , , , , , , , , , , ,

So, last night, i slept right after my last blog post. This morning i woke up at 6:15 a.m. and i showered at 6:30 a.m. I got to school at 8:30 and after the announcements, our Religion teacher talked about Semester 2. Apparently, in Semester 2, the "late rule" will be more enforced. You can even get suspended. This is good news because i can tell my mom this and she might even let me use the car to get to school, now that i have my G2. Anyways, i had a boring Religion and Advanced Functions class this morning. So, let's move on.

The Onion has created a MacBook Wheel Parody. It's a video on the new, but fictional, MacBook Wheel which will be 'hitting shelves' in 3 to 15 months. It's a really funny video and i don't want to spoil it for you. So, you can watch it for yourselves. The video is below, courtesy of tuaw.com.

Apple Introduces Revolutionary New Laptop With No Keyboard

On the left side (from left to right) is a picture showing the "G13, G19 keyboard, G9x mouse, [and the] G35 headset." After releasing the G13 gameboard recently, they are now announcing 3 more releases to the G-Series. The upcoming G19 keyboard will have a small LCD screen with a resolution of 320x240. The keyboard will also have 12 keys that can be programmed for 3 macros each. This keyboard is scheduled to be released in March for $200 USD. It will support both Mac and Windows. The G9x mouse is said to be an update to the previously released G9 mouse. It will be able to track up to 5,000 DPI and will even have customizable cover plates and adjustable weight. You can even change the LED colours. Unfortunately, the G9x's "full feature set will be available only to Windows." Sorry Mac users. This is scheduled to be released in April for $100 USD. Last, but not least, the G35 headset. This headset will produce 7.1-channel surround sound. It "should ship in March for $130" USD.

HTC is releasing the S743 to US markets now. This phone, unlike most of HTC products, will be non-touchscreen. But, it does have a couple of good features. It has a 2.4 inch screen and has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Unfortunately, they took the 3G out of the phone and replaced it with "HSDPA 850 / 1900 for North American use." Okay, maybe the phone's specs are pretty bad. If you still want this, you should look out for it this quarter. I prefer HTC's touchscreen phones, as they tend to be excellent.

Meet the Motorola A3100. This is a touchscreen phone that will have "integrated Wi-Fi, a 3-megapixel camera with a secondary VGA shooter, Google Maps, Bluetooth" and a bunch of the regular stuff that all other phones have. It will run on a "Windows mobile OS that will allow users to customize the UI with widgets." It will hit China first and there are actually no plans on releasing this on US markets right now.
