Final Fantasy DSi, LBP Sales, Google and Mozilla, LG LCD's, No PS3

Labels: , , , , , , ,

Last night, i was up talking to my girlfriend until about 2 in the morning. Officially, i woke up at 12:30 p.m. today. Very interesting stuff, eh? Actually, right now, i'm starving and want to eat a pizza. Oh yeah, i had to wake up at 9:30 a.m. this morning to let the plumber in. Other than that, i've done nothing.

Some sweet news about a new, limited edition Nintendo DSi that is set for release. "The cunning linguists at Kotaku have translated a Famitsu article on the limited edition Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time Nintendo DSi. This special DSi goes on sale next month and will be bundled with the aforementioned game." This bundle will be selling for 23,940 yen, which converted, is around $266.72 USD. Sounds good. A Final Fantasy limited edition Nintendo DSi, how sweet is that?

Ashlee's 'cute' game will make an appearance in today's blog. She commented on my previous blog about LittleBigPlanet saying that if i get this (which i won't) we should play it together, but i should bring Nikki too, so that she wouldn't get 'suspicious.' Anyways, people are actually starting to wake up and buy this game. LittleBigPlanet sales are increasing. After falling to 34,075 units sold in America after 4 weeks, it has jumped up to 61,388 units sold in week 8. It also rose overseas as well, dropping to 69,251 units sold in week 4 and then jumping in week 6 to 118,196 units sold. Anyways, yeah, that's all the news, not gonna talk about it anymore.

Some bad news towards Mozilla. Apparently, ever since the release of Google's browser, Chrome, the relationship between Mozilla and Google have become more "complicated." This is probably due to Google paying for 85% of all costs of Mozilla's browser, Firefox. Mozilla relies on Google very heavily in order for their business to stay alive and now that Google has a new primary browser, their relationship is turning out this way.

LG may have created LCD's that displays outdoors as well as it does indoors. The LCD's that are produced nowadays work pretty bad under sunlight. This pretty much applies to anything used outdoors: laptop LCD's, phone screens and mp3 player screens, just to name a few. "LG's Backlight Data Signal Switching Technology will allow users to switch between the indoor and outdoor modes with the press of a button. As an added bonus, switching to the reflective mode reduces LCD power consumption by about 75%." Keep in mind that the technology is still being developed and trying to be perfected. But, LG is definitely headed in the right direction.

Anyways, last night i was up with my girlfriend last night and found out that i'm not getting the PS3 (cause i'm just really smart like that). So, i won't be testing out Playstation Home, LittleBigPlanet or Street Fighter 4 (when it comes out), just to name a few. I'm not gonna lie, i'm disappointed, but i know my mom works hard for me. She currently has 2 jobs, her day job and her job at Canada Post, but she's only working on-call, but still. So, no PS3, but it's okay. All i need in this life of sin is me and my girlfriend... and WoW, most likely starting early next year or late this year, depending on how much money i get for Christmas. School > WoW though, i have to remember that.
