Early WoW PvP, NY Times Game of the Year, Dell Studio XPS 13

Labels: , , ,

So, here's the new layout in my room. Laptop + Desktop + TV. I'll soon be running Laptop + Dual Monitors with the Desktop and the TV, kind of pro. Well, that's once i get my DVI port. Anyways, this morning i woke up because of the plumber creating very loud ruckus in the washroom trying to fix our pipes and stuff. Well, anyways, i read my Google Reader a couple of times today and i actually couldn't find anything interesting to talk about, which sucked. Hmm, i pretty much just slacked here at home. I played WoW for a bit and i'll talk about that later. But, yes, i am going to eat some Swiss Chalet after i write this blog post. Mmm, can't wait. That was pretty much my whole day, either lying down or on my computer doing nothing.

So, earlier i played WoW for a bit. I gave Garthuk (Daniel) about 1645 gold. Since i'm not playing anyway, i figured that my gold might as well go to use. I still have 3000 gold left anyway, so it doesn't really matter. So, yes, as i posted last night, i am still level 70 due to Blizzard owning me and not allowing me to level. Anyways, i decided to PvP today. So, i did. Anyways, i PvP'd and went into AB (Arathi Basin). Argh, i'm getting distracted because i'm watching Family Guy. So yes, i went into AB and i quickly got 3 kills with 0 deaths. Keep in mind, i'm level 70 and i killed 2 level 75 players and a level 73. First off, i killed a level 75 Death Knight and then completely outplayed some other level 75 scrubby Mage. As soon, as that Mage died, a Druid started to attack me. I got away and had to start healing for a bit. I used Psychic Scream and went back into Shadowform. I disposed of him quickly with Shadow Word: Pain, Vampiric Embrace, Vampiric Touch, Mind Blast, Shadow Word: Death, Mind Flay and then another quick Mind Blast, Shadow Word: Death to win. There was nothing interesting about the rest of the battle, but i ended up getting 9 kills and only having 3 deaths. I think that was pretty good, seeing how there were level 78's in the fight.

New York Times has announced that their pick for Game of the Year is Grand Theft Auto 4. It's actually kind of sad and i'm ashamed to say this. But, i have actually never played any game of the GTA's series. It upsets me that i only get to watch other people, especially Jibril at lunch (scrub). But, it's okay, if i get PS3, it's yet another game i need to get. I think i have quite a lengthy list of games to get, if i ever end up getting PS3.

So, i recently blogged about the Dell Studio XPS 13, the laptop with a bit of leather on it. This laptop has actually shown up on the official Dell website with a $1,406 price tag. A quote off of engadget.com states that "It's currently showing among its laptop lineup, but trying to get to the individual product page gives us an error screen." This laptop is mighty sexy, but that price tag is quite large. Definitely not anything in my price range. Maybe when i actually have a job or career, i'll be able to afford some of this stuff i talk about.

Back to Family Guy for me, while eating some Swiss Chalet. Later days. Or later tonight.

[Edit at 7:03 p.m.] I just did the dumbest thing. I had a glue bottle in my hand, and it's enclosed in a clear case. I was squeezing the bottle so that the glue would just ooze out of the top and then come back in [Don't even say it]. I did it twice, but then the third time the glue bottle blew up. The glue splattered all over my arm and all over the ceiling. It started to drip off of the ceiling, luckily it wasn't over the top of my head. It was dripping off the ceiling, like, hmm. Like when you're in the shower, then you make a cup with your hands, then you let water fill it up and then you throw that water at the ceiling. It drips off of the ceiling and when it hits you, it's slightly colder than all the other water. Yeah, that's what it reminded me of. Anyways, i had to go and clean it up, the ceiling, the floor and my arm. It was gross, but still made me laugh. Now i know never to do something like that again...
