CES 2012 is under away and Acer started off with a bang. They've quickly announced the Iconia Tab A700 (above) which is sporting a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution display for real HD movie watching. Inside you'll find a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz CPU and Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich". It'll reportedly hit the market in Q2 of this year but that's just what they're saying right now.

Other specs include WiFi / Bluetooth support, an HDMI output, a microSD card slot, and a 9.8mm thin body which isn't bad. The Verge is also saying that the tablet is pretty light and the battery life is still unknown right now.
