If you're interested in the Dell XPS 14z then there's some good news for you today. The company has just announced that this notebook will be available in the US and Europe sometime this Fall for an unknown price. The notebook will feature a slot-loading optical drive, USB 3.0 / HDMI ports, Intel Core 2011 CPU options, Nvidia Optimus graphics, and a bunch of HDD / RAM options. It's a pretty darn good notebook so you might want to give it a look.

Sharp Announces the AQUOS PHONE 102SH For SoftBank In Japan

Sharp has just introduced their latest Android phone which is headed to SoftBank Mobile in Japan. This is the AQUOS PHONE 102SH which is quite rugged since it's waterproof and also features a digital TV tuner. The smartphone also packs a 4.5-inch LC 3D display with a 1,280 x 720 resolution, a 12MP camera, a dual-core 1GHz TI OMAP4430 CPU, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, DLNA, a microSDHC card slot, e-wallet, 1GB of RAM, 2.2GB of ROM, and the Android OS. Look out for it sometime in the future - though it's unknown exactly when.

Dell has just announced their latest smartphone which is set to hit Japan's SoftBank in 2012. Yup, you're going to be waiting a bit for this one. This is reportedly the STREAK PRO 101DL but don't let the name fool you because this one's a smartphone. It packs a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD (Gorilla Glass) display, a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 CPU, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 support, a microSDHC card slot,
GPS, and Android 2.3. Look out for it, next year.

Verizon's HTC Rhyme Now Available For An Overpriced $199

If you're interested in Verizon's phone marketed towards women then the HTC Rhyme is now available for you. Unfortunately, it'll cost you $199.99 on a 2-year contract so it's the same price as the carrier's high-end smartphones. This one features a 3.7-inch WVGA display, a 5MP AF camera, a 1GHz CPU, 4GB of storage, 768MB of RAM, a microSD card slot, 3G / WiFi / Bluetooth support, and Android "Gingerbread" with the Sense UI. Mobilicity tweeted that they'll be releasing the BlackBerry Bold 9900 today and they've come through. The smartphone from RIM is now available on the Canadian carrier for $549.99 contract-free. HTC Explorer Gets Official, Low-End Android Phone

HTC has just announced their latest Android phone and it's just the low-end Explorer. This one officially packs a 3.2-inch HVGA display, a 3MP camera, a 600MHz CPU, and Android "Gingerbread" with the Sense UI. The company mentioned that this will be available in Q4 of this year in Asia and other "key markets" for less than $200. It should come in a few colours as well: Metallic Black, Active Black, and Metallic Navy.
