Labels: , , , ,

HTC has just decided that today would be a great day to announce their latest smartphone. What you see above was just announced in South Korea and it's the Raider 4G. This one packs quite the spec sheet so we're hoping that the next Nexus can take some notes.

This one will be launching soon with a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display, a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, an 8MP AF camera with an LED flash, a front-facing 1.3MP camera, 1GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, 16GB of storage, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, LTE, and Android 2.3 with the Sense 3.5 UI. This smartphone will be hitting SK Telecom before the end of the month and it should also find its way to AT&T before the end of the year.

Apple Holding Event On October 4th, iPhone Announcement By Tim Cook

Labels: , ,

AllThingsD is reporting that Apple will finally be unveiling their next iPhone at a Fall event on October 4th. Of course, we should see other announcements as well so expect new iPods as well. The iPhone is expected to land around two weeks after the announcement and should expect iOS 5 around the same time. Tim Cook will be making the huge announcement so don't expect Steve Jobs to magically show up - they don't need him anymore. Mark it on your calendar!
