LG Phoenix Headed To Rogers In Canada

AT&T has released this one and it looks like Rogers will be bringing it to Canada. Of course, this one's not exactly a new handset since it's just an LG Optimus One variant. The Phoenix is headed to Rogers with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, a 600MHz CPU, WiFi / Bluetooth support, and Android 2.2. Price and release date haven't been mentioned yet.

Toshiba Shows Off Dynabook Qosmio T851/D8CR 3D Notebook In Japan

Toshiba has just announced their latest notebook, the Dynabook Qosmio T851/D8CR which is the world's first notebook that'll show 2D and 3D images at the same time. Of course, with tech right now the 2D image will be in 1,920 x 1,080 resolution while the 3D one is a bit lower at 1,366 x 768.

Specs for this one include a 15.6-inch display, an Intel Core i5-2410M CPU, 8GB of RAM, a 750GB HDD, a Blu-ray drive, a digital TV tuner, a 1MP webcam, one USB 3.0 port, three USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI output, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, and Windows 7 Home Premium. This one will be available in Japan this July for $2,780 so it's definitely not cheap.

BlackBerry Curve Touch To Be Announced Next Month, T-Mobile This June and CDMA Later

"Firm details" have come from BGR this morning as they're being told that the BlackBerry Curve Touch will be announced next month at BlackBerry World. T-Mobile's GSM model will reportedly be available in June, while a CDMA model will be launching in late Fall. Leaked roadmaps for this device earlier this year said that this would be launching in Q3 but maybe RIM has decided to push up the date since they haven't launched a new BlackBerry in a long time.

T-Mobile Releases the Sidekick 4G For $99

T-Mobile has released a bunch of new devices today, the Samsung-built Sidekick 4G is now available as well. This one's going for $99 on a 2-year contract and it's available in matte black and magenta. This handset features a 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a 1GHz CPU, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a microSD card slot, a 3MP camera, and Android 2.2. Check it out on T-Mobile.

Toshiba Announces Their 10.1-Inch "Honeycomb" Tablet In Japan As the Regza Tablet AT300

Toshiba has finally announced their Android powered tablet in Japan and it'll debut as the Regza Tablet AT300 over there. Over here, it might be the "Thrive" but we won't know about that until a later date. This will be available in June for right around $730 which is a bit high. Fortunately, the company mentioned that it'll hitting the US in the first half of the year.

This tablet features a 10.1-inch glasses-free 3D display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, a dual-core Tegra 2 1GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth support, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, an HDMI output, an SD card slot, USB / miniUSB ports, Android "Honeycomb", and a battery life of up to 7 hours.

Amazon and T-Mobile Now Selling the LG G-Slate Tablet For $799

As expected, the LG G-Slate with HPSA+ (4G) connectivity is now available if you want to pay $799.99. Reuters Says the Next iPhone Will Start Production In July, Shipping September

Reuters has just picked up some pretty valuable information if you're looking to pick up a next-gen iPhone this year. We've heard various reports that the iPhone won't be landing this Summer and they've confirmed that. They're hearing that the production for this next-gen iPhone will start in July and it'll ship in September. Of course, the next one will have several improvements over the current model but we won't know exactly what that is unless someone loses it in a bar.
