Sprint Releases the HTC EVO Shift 4G For $149 -- Amazon For $119

As expected, Sprint USA has released the Android-based HTC EVO Shift 4G. You can get it on Sprint or on Radio Shack for $149.99 on a 2-year contract after rebates. Yes, you'll have to pay some extra monthly fees for 4G speed but that's all up to you. This handset sports a 3.6-inch WVGA display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard with a trackpad, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 512MB of RAM, 2GB of ROM, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 support, WiMAX, a 5MP AF camera with an LED flash and 720 HD video recording, a front-facing camera, aGPS, an 800MHz Qualcomm CPU, and Android 2.2 with the Sense UI.

Update: Unwired View has just pointed out that the HTC EVO Shift 4G is actually available on Amazon for for $119.99 on a 2-year Sprint contract. If you're going to get one then you should head over there to get it.

Sony Updates Their Vaio L All In One PC and Their 16-Inch 3D Vaio F Notebook

At Sony's CES press conference, they refreshed their all in one PC, the Vaio L, and their notebook, the Vaio F. They're both packing new Intel Core i7 CPU options and the first one is the 24-inch Vaio L. This one packs an HDMI port, Nvidia GeForce GT500M graphics, Dolby Home Theater speakers, wireless keyboard / mouse, an optional Blu-ray drive / burner, and Windows 7. The base model for this one will cost you $1,199 but we don't know when it will be available.

Next up is the 16-inch Vaio F notebook which has 3D capabilities. This notebook packs new Intel Core 2011 CPU options, Nvidia GeForce GT540M graphics, a Full HD 3D LED display (1,920 x 1,080 resolution), and Windows 7. Of course, this notebook will up-convert your 2D movies / Blu-rays to 3D if that's what you want. The base model will be launching for $1,699 when it can be yours next month (February).

MSI Introduces Three New Wind Top All In One PCs At CES

At CES, MSI introduced a bunch of new all in one PCs, which now feature Intel's new line-up of Core 2011 CPUs - except for the Wind Top AE2050 which is an AMD-powered. We'll kick things off with the 22-inch AE2210 and the 24-inch AE2410 which features up to 4GB of RAM, a 1TB HDD, an optional Blu-ray drive, a DVD burner, WiFi b/g/n support, an integrated webcam, two USB 3.0 ports, and Windows 7. This will be available later this quarter for $799 and $899, respectively.

Last, but not least, there's the 20-inch AE2050 which I already mentioned. It'll have an AMD E-350 CPU, Radeon HD 6310 graphics, two USB 3.0 ports, and Windows 7. The price and release date for this one is still unknown.

There'll Be a WiFi-Only Motorola XOOM Tablet In the Future

It has taken a while for the WiFi-only Galaxy Tab to hit the market and it looks like Motorola plans to launch a WiFi-only model of their XOOM soon. Apparently, Motorola's Latin America GM, Maurizio Angelone, told this information to InfoBae. This WiFi-only model will reportedly be available in April while the 3G model will be hitting the market a month later - at least in Argentina.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc Release Is Said To Be Three Months Away

Sony Ericsson has just leaked some vital information on their own Indonesian website. Apparently, the XPERIA Arc will be available quite soon if you believe what it says. Check it out on Sony Ericsson where the release is tipped to be in three months. Hopefully, this is a sign that it'll be available globally before the first half of this year.

Acer's 4.8-Inch Android Powered Smartphone Tablet To Hit the US This April

It looks like Acer actually does plan to launch their Android-based 4.8-inch smartphone / MID / tablet to the US since that's exactly what they've said. This mini tablet is said to sport a metal body, a 1,024 x 480 resolution, and either Froyo or Gingerbread on board when it hits the nation this April. It's unknown what carrier this will be hitting in the US but it could be Verizon. The complete spec sheet is unknown right now.

Prices For the Bell LG Optimus Chic Leak Out

Next week, Bell will be bringing the LG Optimus Chic to Canada and now we know the price that it will be going for. Judging from the pricing scheme that leaked above, the Chic will be hitting Bell for free on a 3-year contract, $199.95 on a 2-year contract, $224.95 on a 1-year contract, and $249.95 contract-free which has basically already been confirmed. This mid-end Android handset will be a pretty good choice for someone on a budget and it, thankfully, has version 2.2 of the OS on board.
