Sony Officially Changes the Name of the S2 to the Tablet P, Hitting the US This Year

Labels: , , , , , ,

Sony has brought one of their unique tablets to IFA this year and we've previously known it as the S2. Well, the company has decided to name it the Sony Tablet P and it'll be hitting the US later this year. It's also going to be hitting Europe this November so that's great news. Unfortunately, the AT&T model is said to be 3G only so don't expect a WiFi-only model or a 4G (HSPA+ or LTE) one. Price is still unknown right now.

In case you forgot, this tablet sports dual 5.5-inch displays (1,024 x 800 resolution), a 5MP camera, a VGA front-facing camera, an SD card slot, a Tegra 2 CPU, 4GB of storage, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Android "Honeycomb".
