Motorola Announces the TITANIUM and the PHOTON 4G For Sprint, Triumph Hitting Virgin

Labels: , , , , ,

Sprint held a press event today and they announced a few new devices that you can feast your eyes on. The first one is the Motorola TITANIUM which runs the Android OS along with a QWERTY keyboard. The handset itself features a 5MP camera, WiFi b/g / Bluetooth 2.1 support, a microSD card slot (2GB card included), and even Military Spec 810G ruggedness. It's definitely not packing a great spec sheet but it'll be pretty good as a quick messaging phone.

That's not all though. They also announced the PHOTON 4G which may be a better choice for you if you're into great specs. The smartphone features a 4.3-inch qHD display, a Tegra 2 dual-core CPU, an 8MP camera, a front-facing camera, an HDMI output, a kickstand, and Android 2.3 with the Blur UI. Yes, it's sporting the 4G tag so it'll have WiMAX capabilities if that's your thing.

One more device. Virgin Mobile announced that they'll be launching the Motorola Triumph in the near future as well. This one features a 4.1-inch display, 512MB of RAM, aGPS, 2GB of storage, a Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU, WiFi support, an HDMI output, and Android 2.2. The price and release date for this one is still unknown for now.
