Next iPad To Have Retina Display, Dual Cameras, USB Port, and More?

Labels: , , , ,

Coming from a Taiwan source is a few rumours regarding the next Apple iPad. Apparently, the iPad will have a 9.7-inch Retina (LCD) Display, two dock connectors (that patents have hinted at many times), a USB port, a thinner and (slightly) smaller body, rear and front-facing cameras, and a 3-axis gyroscope. The launch for this one could be right on cue with the first one, so we could be seeing a late Winter / early Spring launch date (the iPad was announced in January and was released in April).

Earlier rumours said that the next iPad could also be a global tablet so we'll see if that actually comes true.

Symbian^3 Based Nokia X7 Leaks On Video, Running Need For Speed: Shift

Labels: , ,

A new Symbian^3 powered smartphone has just leaked online and it's reportedly the Nokia X7-00. Not much details were given, just the fact that it's running Need For Speed: Shift and it is rumoured to share most of the hardware features that the N8 has. This includes what looks to be a 4-inch display with a 360 x 640 resolution, a polished metal body, 245MB of [usable] RAM, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microUSB port. Apparently though, the camera on the back is just an 8MP AF sensor with an LED flash (that will likely record 720p HD videos). Since you're here you can check it out in action below with its 4 stereo speaker in check.

Update: Daily Mobile (via HDBlog.it) has managed to scoop a few more photos of the Nokia X7 - this time right beside the E7. They look fairly similar but the X7 lacks the slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
