65-Inch Edge-Lit LED 3DTV Shows Up On the Official Website For $3,599

Labels: , ,

A new and unannounced 65-inch Vizio edge-lit LED 3DTV has just hit the website for $3,699. It's expensive but the major companies (like Samsung or Sony) would be releasing it for a lot more because Vizio does tend to have their prices much lower than everyone else. The display is polarized so you'll get to use passive 3D glasses which are much cheaper to buy [separately] than active shutter 3D glasses so that's great news. Check it out on Vizio if you're interested.

As expected, AT&T in the USA has just released the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab. It's available right now for $649.99 contract-free and has plans for $14.99 monthly for 250MB of data or for $25 monthly for 2GB of data. Both of them are quite steep, but it you think they're worth it then check it out on AT&T right now. Keep in mind that Apple should be announcing the next iPad in early 2011 and we should see new technology in the first few days of the new year.

10.1-Inch LG E-Note H1000B Windows 7 Based Tablet Now Official, and Overpriced

Labels: , , , ,

LG chose quite a random day to make their 10.1-inch tablet official but I can't stop them. Dubbed the E-Note H1000B, this tablet is running Windows 7 and actually hit the FCC earlier this month. Complete specs include a resistive touchscreen display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, a stylus, Intel Atom 1.1GHz / 1.6GHz Z530 CPU options, a 16GB SSD, 1GB of RAM, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, an SD card slot, two USB ports, a 4-cell battery, and optional WiMAX support (not integrated, it's actually a separate modem). Other options include Windows 7 Professional and even a docking station.

This will be available in Korea through KT for an absurd 961,000 won ($847 USD). They'll probably sell about 4 of these so this is likely something you'll want to pass on. Yeah, it's about double the price of what it really should be.

Sony Unveiling Something At MWC 2011 In February, Could Be the PlayStation Phone

Labels: , , , , , , , , ,

The WSJ has just reported that Sony Ericsson plans to unveil a new product at MWC 2011 (February 2011) and this one's sounding like some great news. It could be the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X12 (codenamed "Anzu"), but everyone is really hoping that it'll be what you see above, the PlayStation Phone. The SE CEO did mention that "the future might be brighter" and that "Sony is of course a very strong brand, and why shouldn't we use that?" in regards to a PlayStation Phone. Yes, that's probably a hint towards what they'll be launching. Either way, don't find it surprising if we actually see both smartphones at the event.
