Unknown Motorola Android Handset Gets Spotted On the Chicago Bus

Labels: , , ,

Apparently, someone (his name is Kyle) from Android Guys spotted an unknown Motorola handset while he was on a Chicago public bus. This is the same guy who spotted the DROID X a few days before release so we'll really just have to take his word for it. He drew a mock-up of the handset (above) and mentioned that it featured MOTOBLUR, a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, three touch-sensitive buttons (no search), a front-facing camera, and a live wallpaper. Of course, we'll really just have to wait for another leak and a picture of this handset in the wild. The guy on the bus who owned the handset couldn't say anything about besides that it's intended for girls.

Samsung Omnia 7 Gets Pictured, Just a Bit Different From the i8700

Labels: , , ,

WMPowerUser broke the news about there being a Samsung Omnia 7 in the works and it looks like IntoMobile managed to scoop some photos of said smartphone. Of course, it'll be running Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 and it looks a bit like the Samsung i8700. However, the Omnia 7 sports a curved top and appears to be a bit wider than the i8700 so they actually could be two different devices. Specs are unknown but Microsoft does have their set of guidelines for everyone to follow so they should be on par with everything that we love.

Nintendo 3DS Hitting Japan On February 26th, Europe and US In March

Labels: , , , , , , , ,

All the rumours can stop right now. Nintendo has just announced that their upcoming gaming handheld, the 3DS, will be available in Japan on February 26th, 2011 for ¥25,000 (around $300). In the next month, March 2011, the 3DS will also be available in Europe and the US (maybe Canada as well, I guess). At launch, the Nintendo 3DS will be available in two colours and that's cosmo black and aqua blue which is pictured. The company has announced that your Mii will be created using the 3DS' front-facing camera which is pretty neat. In the box, you'll be getting a 2GB SD card which isn't too bad.

There's another piece of great news. On the 3DS there'll be a virtual console store where you'll be able to download classic Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games and play them straight from your 3DS, which is pretty awesome!

Mark that date on your calendars folks!
