Motorola XT300 Brings a Portrait QWERTY Keyboard and the Android OS Together

In case you didn't know Motorola is pretty much diving in head-first when it comes to the Android OS. Google's OS arguably saved the company and it looks like another one of their handsets have leaked out. Dubbed the XT300, it'll sport 4 touch-sensitive buttons, a touchscreen display, and a slide-up QWERTY keyboard. Any other details are still unknown. Sprint Stores Opening At 8AM Tomorrow For the Samsung Epic 3G, EVO 4G In Stock... For Now

You better start heading to Sprint stores right now if you want to get their variant of the Samsung Galaxy S. The Epic 4G will be hitting stores tomorrow and they'll be opening those stores at 8AM just for you to get one before the work day starts. As a reminder, the smartphone will cost you $249.99 on a 2-year contract and if you haven't pre-ordered one yet then you should head to Amazon where they have it for $199.99.

Oh yes, the HTC EVO 4G is back in stock, but it should be sold out soon so you better act fast.

WIND Mobile Getting the BlackBerry Pearl 9100, Rumoured To Cost $320

We knew it was possible and the photo above has just about confirmed it. WIND Mobile will be launching the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 sometime in the future and Mobile Syrup has just mentioned that it could be hitting the carrier for $320 contract-free. It's unconfirmed yet but at least we know that Canadians will soon have another carrier to go to.

Mid-End LG E720 Gets Leaked, Running Android 2.2 "Froyo"

LG has just revealed their latest Android smartphone and it's being called the E720. This handset is said to feature a 3.2-inch display, a Qualcomm MSM7227 CPU, a 5MP camera, and Android 2.2 "Froyo". The release date hasn't been mentioned yet but Engadget points out that it better be soon since Android 3.0 "Gingerbread" should be right around the corner.

More iPod Nano and iPod Touch Cases Leak Out, Guarantee the Refresh This Week

Apple is holding an event on Wednesday and it looks like that 3cm x 3cm touchscreen Apple display that leaked way back when will become the next iPod Nano. The photo above is supposedly a case for the iPod Nano and the photos below show another two iPod Nano cases and two shots of a new iPod Touch case which has slots for a camera. Both the iPod Nano and the iPod Touch will have the famous 30-pin connector so that won't change. The iPod Nano should be sporting a 1.7-inch display if the rumours are correct.

At IFA, LG Showing Off First 3D THX-Certified Plasma and 180-Inch 3D Plasma Prototype

According to Akihabara News, LG will be unveiling two more 3DTVs at IFA 2010 in a couple of days. The first one will be a plasma 3DTV that will be THX-certified, the PX950N (above). Not much specs are mentioned but it will have 600Hz technology to support the Multi Picture Format, DLNA support, NetCast widgets, and a wireless AV link. Another display they'll be showing off is a 180-inch plasma 3DTV prototype which will reportedly be the world's largest. Let's see how this all plays out later this week.

Motorola Ming A1680, MT810, and XT806 All Sport Android and Flip Covers, All China-Bound

Motorola has just announced three not-so-traditional flip phones that will be invading China with Android on-board. From left to right there's the A1680, the MT810, and the XT806. We'll go in order, so the first one will be headed to China Unicom. This handset reportedly features a 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, Chinese WAPI WiFi support, a 5MP camera, GPS, and handwriting recognition. The one in the middle is the MT810 and this one features a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen display, a stylus, a capacitive touchscreen cover, TD-SCDMA connectivity, 720p output, CMMB mobile television support, and the OPhone 2.0 OS. The last one is the XT806 and it features GPS, 720p HD video recording, CDMA EVDO and GSM connectivity, and Android 2.1.

Nokia C6-01 To Feature 8MP Camera With a Dual-LED Flash and the Symbian^3 OS?

Possible specs have leaked out regarding the Nokia C6-01 this morning. Apparently, the C6-01 will feature an 8MP camera with a dual-LED flash, and the Symbian^3 OS. Other specs should be similar to the original C6 so you should find a 3.2-inch nHD touchscreen display along with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. This smartphone should be getting official at Nokia World which takes place in the middle of September.

T-Mobile Getting the BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300) On September 8th For $79

We've know that T-Mobile USA would be releasing the BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300) for a while now and it looks like it's just been made official. The smartphone will be hitting the carrier on September 8th for $79.99 on a 2-year contract. The Curve 3G packs a 2.4-inch display with a 320 x 240 resolution, a 2MP camera, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR / WiFi b/g/n support, a QWERTY keyboard, an optical trackpad, a microSD card slot (2GB in the box), GPS, and BB OS 5.0. Of course, it will be getting OS 6.0 but we don't know when that will be.

KT Releases Korea's First Android Tablet, the Identity TAB

If you live in Korea and you're looking for an Android tablet then KT has one for you. This is being called the Identity TAB and it sports a 7-inch multitouch display, 8GB of internal storage, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, a TV-DMB tuner, a 3MP camera, WiFi support, and an SD card slot. Although it sports a coloured LCD display, it's being called an e-book reader as well since it can double as one. You can get it right now for 300,000 won contract-free or for free on a 2-year contract where you'll have to pay 27,000 won monthly.

Samsung Wave 723 Bada Smartphone Will Be Launching In Europe This September

Samsung didn't mention much about their upcoming handset but they've given it a name. Dubbed the Wave 723 (GT-S7320E), this smartphone will be running on the company's own Bada OS. Specs include a 3.2-inch LCD display, WiFi support, a 5MP AF camera with an LED flash, and an 11.8mm thin body. It doesn't have the best specs in the game so it should be more affordable than the first one. This handset should be getting made official sometime this September in Europe
