More BlackBerry Bold / Storm (9700a / 9900 / 9930) Slider Pictures Leak Out

A bunch of new photos of that BlackBerry Bold / Storm slider has just been leaked out. Apparently, it'll be a part of the Bold line-up since it supposedly has the 9700a model name.We still don't know any specs for this handset, but it could be running a new BB 6.0 OS. Keep in mind that this could be a prototype of what RIM will really release so take these pictures with a couple of grains of salt.

Update: According to Boy Genius, this BlackBerry actually sports the model number 9900 and 9930, which will be the GSM and HSPA models. This BlackBerry is reportedly headed to Sprint as well.

Asus Eee PC 1005PEG Passes the FCC and Brings WiMAX With It

It looks like another variant of the Asus Eee PC 1005PE has just passed the FCC (filing here). This model sports the traditional specs like a 10.1-inch display with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR support, a 6-cell battery, and Windows 7. The good news is that it'll also have WiMAX support, which is pretty awesome if you can take advantages of the faster speed.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz Now Available On Vodafone UK

It looks like the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is now available on Vodafone. Of course, it's available for free on a 2-year contract, which is great news considering the spec sheet. It's got an 8.1MP camera that can record 720p video on the back, a 3.2-inch touchscreen WVGA display on the front, and the S60 OS. You'll have to pay £30 ($46 USD) monthly, so when you're ready for that check it out on Vodafone here.
