Labels: , , ,

It looks like the next webOS phone from Palm could be called the Elan and could be headed to AT&T. The launch date right now is supposedly May 10th but that will likely change since that's a long time from now. We don't knwo what this handset will be packing so, as usual, we'll have to wait for that information.

Telus To Launch the Motorola (i1) Opus One On Their Own MiKE Network?

Labels: , , , , , ,

The i1 aka the Motorola Opus One looks like Telus could launch it on their own MiKE network. This would be a perfect addition to their line-up seeing how it's the first iDEN-capable Android handset. When it launches it'll feature a 3.1-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display with a 320 x 480 resolution, a 3MP AF camera with an LED flash and video capabilities, a non-standard 2.5mm headphone jack, WiFi / aGPS support, and MOTOBLUR over top of Android 1.5. There's no slide-out QWERTY keyboard on here so that's really the only let down - and the fact that it's running version 1.5. It's just a rumour right now, so we're going to have to wait for an official announcement. It'll apparently launch in Q3 this year, which is a little bit late.

AMOLED touchscreen display, a 3MP camera with a xenon flash, a dual DMB TV tuner, DivX support, and DNSe 2.0. The official announcement could be very soon, and it'll be hitting South Korea.

Telus To Launch the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 In Black and Pink?

Labels: , , , ,

According to Mobile Syrup's tipster Telus could be planning to launch the BlackBerry Pearl 9100. The good news is that they'll be launching it in two colours: black and pink. I think a red colour would be better but it's not up to me.
