BlackBerry Storm / Bold Slider Leaks In Photos Again

Labels: , , ,

The BlackBerry Bold Slider looks like it has just been caught in more photos. Of course, it's the same person leaking them out. Some of the photos show that the batter is just 1050mAh so it's quite small for a BB - according to CrackBerry. The specs still aren't mentioned so maybe we'll know them in a couple of days / weeks / months from now.

Interesting iPhone 4G Concept, Rendered and Comes In Different Colours

Labels: , ,

What you see above is a concept photo of what someone wants the 4th-generation iPhone to look like - this means that it's not real. I just though it looked pretty interesting - especially since there's a picture of it in several colours. Of course, this concept shows us that the iPhone will have a forward-facing camera for some video iChat. The display is said to be a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen, there's a microSD card slot on-board with 32GB / 64GB of internal storage. Oh yeah, and there's a 5MP snapper on the back. The camera upgrade will likely happen and the AMOLED display could actually be the Super AMOLED if we're lucky enough. I doubt there'll be a microSD card on the next iPhone.

These rendered photos are looking pretty damn good but it looks too fat to be an iPhone and they would never put a circle around the Apple logo like that.

There's a new rumour going around that the Verizon HTC Touch Pro 2 will be getting an upgrade to their newer Sense UI. Right now it's got the TouchFLO skin on there which isn't much different but it still makes a slight difference. Along with the Sense UI, WinMo 6.5 will be upgraded to WinMo 6.5.3 which would be pretty good. If only it was WinPho 7 upgradeable...

WIND Mobile To Launch the HTC Magic+ Soon?

Labels: , , , , , ,

Apparently Rogers won't be the only carrier in Canada to have the HTC Magic+. If this is true then WIND Mobile could be getting the Magic+ too which is essentially the Magic with the Sense UI and a couple of other fixes. It just sucks that they had to go with this phone to start off their Android onslaught since this handset is so old already.

BlackBerry Touch Slider aka Mr T aka Storm 3 Picture Leaks Out? -- Could Be A Bold

Labels: , , ,

Apparently, this could be what RIM is codenaming the Mr. T aka the BlackBerry Storm 3. Clearly, it's got a similar factor-form to the Palm Pre. This is unconfirmed right now, but it's looking like this touchscreen slider will pop up again in the near future with a video. It doesn't look all that great but I'm sure if RIM were to render it all nice and stuff some people would fall in love with it.

There's not much they can really do to this handset to make it more BlackBerry-like. It's got the optical trackpad and a familiar keyboard as well.

Update: According to CrackBerry's lengthy post, this handset likely won't be the Storm 3 since it'll be part of the Bold Series. At least, that's what they believe. Apparently, there won't be SurePress on this screen and it'll act more like every other touchscreen out there.

The price should drop again so I'd advise you not to buy it for this ridiculous price. Check it out on Telus - just to laugh and not purchase.
