Deep Ocean Blue Coloured Samsung Gravity 2 Splashing T-Mobile On March 7th?

Labels: , ,

On March 7th, T-Mobile USA looks like they're going to launch yet another colour (deep ocean blue) of their Samsung Gravity 2. This handset has been out for a couple of months now but we knew this "color refresh" was on the way. It'll launch for the same price as the current price, so don't expect an increase in price.

Lenovo's ThinkPad W701 / W701ds Spec Sheets Leak Out, Core i7 Extreme

Labels: , , , , , ,

Way back in November we saw the W701 pass the FCC and it hinted at a Core i7 CPU. It's definitely launching with one, the Extreme Series line-up. Today's leak tells us that Lenovo is set to announce the ThinkPad W701 and the W701ds - a follow-up to the W700ds - as early as February 23. Both notebooks are extremely powerful, but of course, the more power you put into these notebooks the higher the price goes. You'll reportedly be able to pack up to 16GB of RAM, up to a 256GB SSD, DisplayLink port, and even Ultrabay storage. That's not all though, since there'll be a Wacom Digitizer and the 17-inch display will cover 100% of the NTSC colour gamut accompanied with 280 nits of brightness. Let's hope they have some lower-end Core i5 options cause I'm not willing to spend 2 grand on a Core i7 Extreme model.

LG Arena Hitting AT&T On February 26th For $199 With Mobile TV!

Labels: , , ,

The LG Arena that's been out for a while now is set to make a debut in the US on AT&T with AT&T Mobile TV. The release date is scheduled for February 26th and it's going to be available for $199.99 on a 2-year contract which is quite expensive for a phone that's so old - and doesn't compare to the iPhone to be honest. It's packing a 3-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a 5MP AF camera, GPS / WiFi support, and LG's S-Class UI.

HTC A9292 (Supersonic) Possibly Launching In H1 2010 With Sprint's WiMAX

Labels: , , , , ,

Remember the HTC A9292? Or the HTC Supersonic? Well, it could be the same handset and could be using Sprint's WiMAX. The good news is that it could actually launch earlier than expected since it could be launching in the first half of this year. Everything's unconfirmed right now so we'll have to wait for it all to get official.

Just in case the Supersonic isn't what you're looking for don't worry because Sprint mentioned that there'll be "dozens of devices" with integrated WiMAX support by the end of this year.

Labels: , , ,

Just because Windows Phone 7 is on the way and it's looking amazing so far doesn't mean that WinMo 6.5 is going away. The latest news about WinMo 6.5 is that it will be renamed to Windows Phone Classic. WinPho Classic will likely be for those business customers and those people who are in love with their phones. WinPho 7 will have integrated Zune and Xbox Live support and is a worthy competitor to the iPhone and Android OS.
