Other specs look like they're going to stay pretty much the same, so that's: an Intel Core i7-620M 2.66GHz CPU, 4GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTS 150M graphics, and Windows 7 Professional. This notebook will reportedly now be available in May for around $2,895 USD. We'll see if they can pull through with that promise.

Of course, the big unveiling will come at MWC in a couple of days, but it's definitely looking like it could be sporting that 3.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display. Let's hope that the Samsung Wave will be a good start for Bada.

More Nokia N87 Rumours; 3.7-Inch AMOLED and 12MP Camera?

Labels: , , ,

Back in December we heard about rumours of a Nokia N87 making a launch this year, those specs included a 12MP camera and a 3.2-inch touchscreen display. Today we're hearing new rumours that state that the N87 will feature a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 12MP camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and a xenon flash (with 720p HD video recording capabilities), WiFi / GPS support, an FM radio, an ARM Cortex A8 600MHz CPU, a separate GPU, 256MB of RAM, and 16GB / 32GB of internal storage.

Unwired View is thinking that the N87 and the N8 (from yesterday) could actually be the same handset so they actually only have one 12MP cameraphone in the works. If these specs are true though they're pretty amazing - hopefully they can get some good games on there too so they can work that GPU. I wonder if its real.

Brother Reveals SV-70 Document Viewer, Just $1,100

Labels: , , ,

It looks like Brother is back at it again with their new SV-70 "Document Viewer", we'll call it an e-book reader for that purpose. This reader will feature a 9.7-inch monochrome display with a 1,200 x 825 resolution, 100MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, and a battery that should last 83 hours - that's all similar to their SV-100B reader from last year. However, this e-book reader won't have Bluetooth of the 2GB microSD card that the SV-100B had so that's a shame. If you want to blow your money on this, it's available for an unbelievable $1,100. This should only hit Japan so don't count on it being launched in the US - not like we want it here anyway.

HTC Legend Spotted On Dutch Carrier KPN's Website, Gearing Up For March Launch

Labels: , , , ,

It looks like the HTC Legend has just been spotted on a Dutch telecom, KPN, website. This handset is expected to launch in March - next month - and will be the direct successor to the HTC Hero. We should see it at MWC in a couple of days.

Garmin-Asus Nuvifone A50 Hitting T-Mobile USA On May 5th?

Labels: , , , , , , ,

Garmin-Asus just revealed the A50 Android handset and it looks like it might not face extreme delays like their Nuvifone G60. According to the latest rumour, the A50 will be launching on T-Mobile USA as early as May 5th. This is great news because the more Android the better, but let's see if it can compete with the HTC HD2 which will be tough. In case you forgot, this handset should be launching in Europe in the first half of this year as well.

HP Compaq Airlife 100 Smartbook Gets Official; 10.1-Inch Touchscreen Display, Snapdragon, and Android

Labels: , , , , , , ,

Remember that HP Compaq Airlife 100 smartbook that we saw hit the FCC a couple of weeks ago? Well, HP has finally gone out and announced this smartbook so it's all official now. The HP Compaq Airlife 100 will be headed to Europe in the Springtime - although we don't know if it'll hit anywhere outside of there right now. The Airlife 100 smartbook is packing a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz CPU, a 16GB SSD, WiFi, a battery that will supposedly last 12 hours, a webcam, an SD card slot, a couple of USB 2.0 ports, integrated 3G support, and the Android OS.

Since it's using Android as an OS there's no Flash support on this smartbook yet, but it should be here by the end of the year. That's definitely a big decision to make when picking one of these up. It should launch subsidized on Telefonica, but the price hasn't been mentioned yet.
