HTC HD2 Getting Windows Mobile 7 Upgrade This November?

Labels: , , , , ,

Okay, maybe WinMo 7 will be available this year. According to an HTC staff member the HTC HD2 will be receiving the WinMo 7 as early as this November. Of course this guy could be misinformed, but I guess we'll hear more about it at MWC next month.

Samsung wasn't done unveiling things at CES seeing how they've just shown off three more all-in-one PCs that are set to debut in Korea. The MU100 will feature an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, and integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics. The MU200 features a 20-inch display, an Intel Pentium T4400 CPU, GeForce G310 graphics. The highest-end model is the MU250 and it features a 23-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 resolution) display, an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 CPU, 3GB of RAM, a 500GB HDD, and GeForce G310 graphics. New MacBook Pros To Be Outed With Core i5 CPU Options Says Intel Ad

Labels: , , , , ,

It's not official, but it was definitely predictable. A new Intel ad states the new MacBook Pros that are set to launch will have new Intel Core i5 options. This isn't exactly gigantic news since there are now a ton of new notebooks with these already in them - as seen at CES. Of course the release date in the ad wasn't mentioned, but the January 27th date could be a likely cadidate - for a MacBook refresh and that tablet.

Update: According to Mac Rumors, Intel has mentioned that this promotion is actually a marketing error. Even though it's an error, we're pretty sure that MacBook Pros will be outed with Core i5 options so turn that frown upside down.

If you're looking to hop onto the future right now then HP points out that you can actually get an Envy 15 notebook with USB 3.0 ports. Along with the new port it also rocks the new ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5830 graphics. If the Envy 15 isn't your kinda look then you can also wait for the EliteBook 8540p and 8540w notebooks which will have USB 3.0 ports in a couple of weeks.

Apple Tablet (K48AP) Is the "iPhone On Steroids" and Has "Out Of Control" Multitouch Gestures

Labels: , , , ,

It's not confirmed right now, but the announcement for the Apple tablet is just two weeks away! Below is a list of what the tablet will be bringing to the tablet. If this is true I do believe that Apple could've chose a faster CPU (looks like it could be using an ARM Cortex A9 1GHz CPU), but then again this has the potential to have an all-day battery life. This could actually be true since the iPhone really hasn't had any updates. Giant iPhone anyone?

• The tablet's multi-touch gestures are "out of control."
• It's powered by an incredibly fast ARM CPU
• It runs on the iPhone kernel.
• The internal model number is K48AP.
• There hasn't been an updated iPhone OS build because there's too much tablet-related code/references in the OS and Apple obviously didn't want that to leak. Oops.
• The tablet is basically an "iPhone on steroids."

AccuWeather Ad Tells Us That the Nokia "Saga" Is Another N97 Variant

Labels: , , , ,

Thanks to an AccuWeather ad, it has just leaked that Nokia is working on a new handset, the "Saga". It really looks like the Nokia N97 / N97 Mini, but apparently the screen doesn't tilt upwards like both phones do - hard to tell from the picture though. Keep in mind that Nokia rarely launches phones with an actual name, so this will probably be a part of their N Series line-up - as another variant to the N97.

T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Fender Edition Launching On January 20th

Labels: , , , ,

T-Mobile looks like they're just about ready to launch the Fender Edition of the MyTouch 3G on January 20th. We heard about this back in and as you can see the back of the phone has a fake wooden pattern on it. Thankfully this handset will have a 3.5mm headphone jack unlike the original myTouch 3G. It'll also have a 16GB microSD card in the box, which is great news.
