Viliv P3 Gets Unveiled At CES, Dual-Boots Android and Windows CE

We heard that it would happen and now it's official. Viliv has officially unveiled their P3 PMP and it's a pretty damn good device. It's got a 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a  480 x 800 resolution, an 800MHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU, 720p TV output, up to 32GB of internal memory, optional T-DMB / DAB tuners, a microSD card slot, WiFi, and it's body measures just 9.8mm thin. To make things even better it dual-boots both Windows CE and the Android OS. Check out the link below for a video.

Asus / Pegatron Neo Smartbook Runs Android, Tegra 2 Guts

Engadget got their hands on an Asus / Pegatron Neo smartbook running Google's Android OS. Along with that there's WiFi and Nvidia's new Tegra 2 chipset. As you can see in the picture above it's got a chiclet keyboard and a pretty damn thin body. The full spec sheet wasn't mentioned yet and neither was the price or availability. However it should be available by the end of the year.

HP Also Prepping An Android "Slate", Erm, Tablet

We already heard about the HP Slate that Ballmer showed off at the Microsoft press conference. The latest rumour has it that HP is working on another tablet that's actually a little smaller than the unnamed HP Slate. However, this tablet will be running the Android OS. Specs will have to wait for another day.

LG Shows Off the X300, X200, and X120 Laptops At CES

We've already talked about the LG X300 so we don't need to talk about that anymore. What you see above is the LG X200 which was also spotted at CES. This is actually a netbook that will feature: a 10.1-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU / N470 1.83GHz CPU, 1GB / 2GB of RAM, a 250GB / 320GB HDD, WiFi / 3G support, a 4 / 6-cell battery, and Windows 7 Starter Edition. This netbook will be actually be available starting in February for an undisclosed price.

We've heard about this netbook a little bit and it's actually already available on AT&T. It's the LG X120 (below) and it has a 10.1-inch display with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, WiFi / 3G support, a 1.3MP webcam, and a 3 / 6-cell battery.

Android-Based Cydle M7 Tablet Runs Android, Launching For $199 In Spring

Another Android tablet was spotted at CES which should be no surprise. The Cydle M7 has a built-in stand so that you can stand it in either portrait or landscape mode. This tablet is sporting a 7-inch resistive touchscreen display, an internal ATSC TV tuner, and an 800MHz ARM11 CPU. It's expected to launch for $199.99 in the Spring time.

Quanta Shows Off Android-Based Nvidia Tegra 2 Prototype Tablet

There a ton of new tablets being shown off and here's Quanta's take at it. Clearly running Android, this prototype is powered by Nvidia's new Tegra 2 chipset allowing 1080p output over its HDMI port. The battery life will be good for 140 hours of audio - if you turn the display off - and you'll also be able to get 10 hours of HD video on this tablet which is pretty impressive. Inside it's got WiFi and 3G support. We don't know when or if Quanta will launch this thing and the price is, of course, still TBA.

iriver K1 PMP Gets Shown Off at CES

Unlike everyone else at CES iriver showed off a PMP! This is the first one we've heard about so far and it's the iriver K1. This PMP will feature a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a 320 x 480 resolution, support for a bunch of file formats, WiFi support, a DMB TV tuner, and a web browser of course. The K1 is expected to launch in South Korea later this month but the price hasn't been mentioned yet.
