Verizon Reps Now Using BlackBerry Storm 9550 (Storm 2) Emulator

Labels: , , , ,

It looks like the Storm 2 will be getting launched on Verizon pretty soon. What you see here is a picture from Verizon's inventory system. There's not much to say here, since they're the only ones that can use it right now, which makes me sad.

Dell Inspiron Zino HD To Get Launched as the Inspiron 300 and Inspiron 400

Labels: , , ,

Back in mid-August we got our first look on the Dell Inspiron Zino HD. Apparently, the Zino HD could actually get launched as the Inspiron 300 and Inspiron 400. The Inspiron 300 looks like it will have: an Intel Atom CPU, integrated graphics, a DVD burner, and a 3.5-inch HDD. The Inspiron 300 seems to be the lower-end of the two and won't feature an HDMI output or an eSATA port.

The Inspiron 400, on the other hand, has: an AMD Athlon / Athlon X2 CPU, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics, an optional Blu-ray optical drive, an HDMI output, a gigabit Ethernet port, dual eSATA ports, and Windows XP / Vista / 7 and Ubuntu OS options. We still don't know when these will launch yet.

Labels: , , , , ,

Yeah, the BlackBerry Storm 2 is probably going to be hitting Telus pretty soon, but to make things even more convincing it seems that the original Storm is "not available" right now. If you click on "Add to Cart" on their listing for the Storm here, it gives you the "not available" sign shown in the picture above. The Storm 2 could be on its way folks.

AT&T's HTC Pure Doesn't Have a 3.5mm Headphone Jack, Music Lovers Weep

Labels: , , ,

This is definitely bad news for those looking to buy the AT&T HTC Pure. It looks like it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Fortunately it will be outed with WinMo 6.5 and it should be launching fairly soon. If you're still interested, be on the look out for it. Have fun using those default headphones now...
