RAmos Unveils 3.1-Inch Touchscreen PMP, Launching in Korea and China

RAmos has unveiled yet another touchscreen PMP, this time it's the Q25ihi. This PMP reportedly has: a 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a G-Sensor, a built-in FM tuner and transmitter, support for all "the usual audio / video formats", and the internal memory ranges from 1GB to 16GB. This PMP is going to launch in Korea under their MuMu Music brand; this PMP will also be hitting China as the Q25L.

Foxconn Planning To Release ARM-Based Smartbooks In China?

Foxconn has reportedly just mentioned that they are working on "less than five" ARM-based mini-notebooks aka smartbooks. These smartbooks are expected to run some kind of Linux distro - possibly Moblin Linux - and will hit telecoms in China for somewhere between $100 and $200. According to the reports, Foxconn is also testing out Android "as a possibility" but they didn't mention anything about using Google's Chrome OS. The display is said to be somewhere between 7 to 10 inches.

Asus Announces Four New Aluminum Notebooks With Intel ULV CPUs

Asus has just announced four new Intel ULV-packed notebooks and they have a nice aluminum body on them as well. The 12.1-inch UL20, 13.3-inch UL30, 14-inch UL80, and 15.6-inch UL50 notebooks will have: a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an integrated 0.3MP webcam, up to 4GB of RAM, and a wide range of Intel ULV options. The two small models have an integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics; the two larger models will have a 512MB Nvidia GeForce G 210M graphics card and an Intel GS45 chipset.

Dell Releases Studio XPS 8000 With Core i5 For $800, Studio XPS 9000 On the Way

Intel has just launched their new Intel Core i5 and i7 CPUs and Dell has already announced their upcoming desktop PCs that will utilize these new CPUs. The Studio XPS 8000 will have: an Intel Core i5-720 2.66GHz CPU, a 500GB HDD, and 4GB of DDR3 RAM. This desktop PC is now available for $800 USD on Dell's official website.

The more powerful Intel Core i7-860 2.8GHz and Core i7-870 2.93GHz CPUs will cost you an extra $170 and $380, respectively. You can also pack: a Blu-ray drive, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to a 2TB HDD into these PCs.

In related news, Dell plans to launch the Studio XPS 9000 soon for $900 USD. This desktop PC will have a "slightly higher-end CPU and graphics options."

Telus Increases Storm To $299 Then Cuts It To $99, Making Room For the Storm 2

This morning Telus increased the price of the original BlackBerry Storm to $299 CAD on a 3-year contract for some reason and that confused more than a couple of people out there. Thankfully, Telus has rightfully dropped the price all the way down to $99.99 CAD on a 3-year contract, which is clearly making way for the Storm 2 that is set to launch soon. Dell USA Releases Intel ULV-Packed Inspiron 14z and Inspiron 15z

Thankfully, I don't live in the US or I'd be pissed. I just ordered my Inspiron 15 - but I live in Canada - notebook last Friday and Dell USA has just released two new Intel ULV-packing notebooks. Dell has just released the 14-inch Inspiron 14z and the 15.6-inch Inspiron 15z. These models basically have the same specs, so you'll find: a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 1.4GHz CPU, integrated Intel GMA X4500HD graphics, up to 8GB of RAM, up to a 500GB HDD, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/Draft-N, a 7-in-1 card reader, a 1.3MP webcam, and a 6-cell battery that should last up to 8.5 hours on the 14z. Verizon has finally launched the Samsung Intensity and the more exciting Samsung Rogue. As a refresher, the Samsung Intensity has: a 2.1-inch display with a 176 x 220 resolution, a 1.3MP camera, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 1xRTT connectivity, Bluetooth / GPS support, a microSDHC card slot, and a 2.5mm headphone jack. The Intensity is now available on Verizon's official website for $29.99 USD after a $50 mail-in rebate on a 2-year contract for the grey model here and free after a $79.99 online discount for the red model here.

The Rogue officially has: a 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3MP camera with flash and video recording capabilities, EV-DO Rev. A connectivity, Bluetooth / GPS support, a microSDHC card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. HTC Hero Launching in India

HTC has just announced that the old-school HTC Hero will be hitting India soon. This is going to be the second Android handset that has launched over there, since they already have the HTC Magic. This handset is going to launch in Maharashtra for Rs. 34,600 ($714 USD) and in the rest of India for just Rs. 31,990 ($660 USD). If you purchase it on Airtel, you'll get "100MB of free monthly data downloads for 6 months."

Samsung Galaxy Lite Gets Pictured and Gets Its Own Video

Samsung looks they could be launching the I5700 Galaxy Lite soon, since official pictures and a video have just leaked online. The Galaxy Lite appears to have: an AMOLED touchscreen display, a 3.2MP AF camera, 1GB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot. The video below is nearly two minutes and it shows us a bit about the handset.

Motorola MB200 and MB300 Spotted, Possibly the CLIQ and Morrison

On Motorola's own website, Cell Passion found two new handsets on their UA Profiles. The two phones that were spotted are the Motorola MB200 and the MB300. The MB200 has: a 320 x 480 resolution touchscreen display, a VGA camera, a QWERTY keyboard, WCDMA connectivity, and a Qualcomm MSM 7200A 528MHz CPU. The MB300, on the other hand, has: a 320 x 480 resolution touchscreen display, a 5MP camera, a QWERTY keyboard, WCDMA connectivity, and a Qualcomm MSM 7200A 528MHz CPU.

If what we heard before was true, the MB200 could be the Motorola CLIQ and the MB300 could be the Morrison. Let's hope at least one of these handsets gets announced in two days - at Motorola's event.

There's been an interesting leak today, thanks to Best Buy. On Best Buy's official website, they are now selling 3rd-Generation Apple iPod Touch and 5th-Generation Apple iPod Nano cases. However, there are no pictures on the listings, so we'll just have to see what Apple decides to announce tomorrow.

Sprint Knocks Off $100 Off the Palm Pre, If You're A New Customer -- Now Pulled

Sprint is looking to attract more customers to their network and they're going to try do this by cutting the Palm Pre's price tag. For new Sprint customers, you now get $100 off of the Palm Pre if you purchase one on Sprint.

Update: According to Digital Daily, Sprint has just pulled the offer. They've cited that it was an error.

After further internal review today, the offer of a port-in service credit of $100 to new customers who buy the Palm Pre has been pulled, because it was put into the system in error.

This picture above looks to be the T-Mobile BlackBerry Onyx / Bold 9700. Thankfully, it has the optical trackpad and it'll also have 3G / WiFi support. This handset is expected to be launching in early Novemeber, but nothing's confirmed at the time. This BlackBerry is also going to reportedly have bands capable of running on AT&T, Rogers, and Vodafone.

Palm Rumoured To Be Announced "Pixie" This Week, Maybe It's the Eos

According to the latest unconfirmed news, Palm will be unveiling the handset codenamed "Pixie" this week. Now we suppose this will be the Palm Eos - pictured on the right side - but I hope that it's something that would be better to look at. This handset is almost confirmed to be launching on AT&T, but mysterious Palm devices have also been found in Sprint and Verizon's inventory.

HTC has officially announced the HTC Click as the HTC Tattoo! This Android-based handset will have: a 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen display with a 240 x 320 resolution, a 3.2MP camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 512MB of ROM, a microSD card slot, a Qualcomm MSM7225 528MHz CPU, 256MB of RAM, GPS support, WiFi 802.11 b/g/, a digital compass, Bluetooth 2.0, and dual-band HSPA/UMTS / quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity. This handset will be hitting Europe early next month (October) and it will be hitting "select global markets in the months to follow." Like the picture above, the HTC Tattoo does have HTC's Sense UI.
