Nokia E71i To Get A 5 Megapixel Camera

Labels: , , , , ,

There is already 2 versions of this phone: the Nokia E71 and the E71x. It looks like you can add another version, the Nokia E71i, to the mix as well. The E71i will, of course, be an upgrade to the earlier versions. It will sport a 5MP camera and a slew of other upgrades. One upgrade - other than the camera - is known for sure, which is a new colour called mocha brown (pictured). The QWERTY keypad smartphone will also be powered by Symbian S60 FP2, which is another upgrade. If the rumours are correct, everyone should see this phone revealed at Nokia World, which takes place this September / October.

Asus Releases U and UX-Series Laptop Specifications

Labels: , ,

The laptops we heard back at CeBIT looked pretty amazing. Well, Asus has just announced the specifications on their U and UX-Series laptops. For the processor, you have the choice of: Intel's CULV, a Core 2 Solo, and the Core 2 Duo. All of the select laptops will have up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and WiFi. You also have your choice of a 250, a 320, or a 500GB HDD. To top it off, the graphics will range from Intel's GMA 4500MHD to Nvidia's GeForce G 105M / ATI Mobility Radeon HD4570. For a gallery of the full spec sheet, check out the link below.

HTC Hero Spotted In Black, Running Android

Labels: , , ,

Early in March, we saw HTC's line-up for the year, and if you dig pretty deep, you'll find this phone on there. In late March, Orange revealed that they would launch the HTC Hero before the end of the year, but the picture contained a pink version of this phone. Well, clearly, here's the black version of the HTC Hero which is planned to be released by the end of the year. Now, here's something interesting. A couple of weeks ago, I heard that the "chin" on the G1 and the HTC Magic was there so that the trackball would pop out more - or something like that. Well, the HTC Hero also has a "chin" but is also lacking the trackball, so I think this means that they are lying. Either that or they love this "chin" design, which come people are not a fan of. Anyways, of course this phone will have a touchscreen and, surprisingly enough, it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack. That's the only known specs right now, so we'll hopefully see a full spec sheet soon since we've just seen it "in the wild."

Is This A Picture Of The Apple 9.5-Inch Netbook?

Labels: , ,

Apple could be working on a netbook and this could be some proof. Well, this is the picture and it's up to you to judge whether it is real or not. Apparently, this image is from a "trusted contributor." I don't know why the Apple has a slash through it and that could easily identify it as a fake. We'll see what happens. Nonetheless, this news is pretty juicy though.

Update: It's not real! Looks like it has been confirmed to be a project by a student named Kyle Buckner. He made this Apple laptop using wood, real-working hinges, and also hand-drew a bunch of other stuff. Check it out at Gizmodo.
