Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Passes FCC With T-Mobile and AT&T 3G Bands

Labels: , , , , , , , , ,

My number one phone to date has just passed the FCC. Yes, it's the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10. This Android-based handset was seen at the FCC rocking the EDGE 850 / 1900MHz bands, this means that it'll be capable of running on T-Mobile USA and WIND Mobile's (in Canada) 3G network. This smartphone will also be outed with WiFi / Bluetooth support. Check out the FCC filing here because I know you're interested.

Update: According to Engadget, this handset has passed the FCC yet again (filing here). This time it's got AT&T's 3G bands too - Rogers, Bell, and Telus too. Maybe it won't be exclusive to one carrier in the US! Let's hope it hits Canada.
